Solution Consultant
Job Location: United States
Job responsibilities:
The Solutions Consultant is a motivated, self-starter who is a key member of the Performix Solutions team. In this role, you will assist in requirements gathering, business and technical proposals, demonstration, design, and deployment of complex MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) projects. Reporting to the Director of Solutions, your role will act as the Performix liaison to prospects and customers throughout the entire lifecycle of a project – from demonstration through delivery. You will be the project lead to engagements, as well as an individual contributor, performing requirements gathering and definition, demonstration, architecture and design (including integration into enterprise and plant-floor systems), business process re-engineering, and deployment activities for MES projects at Pharmaceutical, Food/Beverage, and/or Chemical manufacturing facilities around the US and Canada.
Educational qualifications: Bachelors in Technology or Engineering discipline
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years experience in professional services functions
- Minimum 5 years experience designing or implementing MES Application (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be willing and able to travel throughout the United States and Canada upto 75% of the time
Additional Eligibility Qualifications :
- Performix will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in US.
Desired Characteristics :
- Good communication skills, able to succeed with minimal supervision but excel in team environment.
- Business and manufacturing acumen in a technical environment.
- Skills in solution analysis, design, methodology, and architecture.
- Strong exposure to MES technologies, including automated data collection, visualization, quality and efficiency in manufacturing, SCADA, automated decision control, workflow, database applications, scheduling, and interface to ERP systems.
- Exposure to enterprise level large-scale applications.
- Manufacturing experience in Pharmaceutical, Food/Beverage, or Chemicals industries.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Manufacturing modules (PP-PI, MM, QM, PM, and/or MII)
- Experience in Process and Software Validation in GMP environments

QA - Member:
Job Location: Pune, India
Educational qualifications: Engineering Graduate/MCA or equivalent
Experience: 4+ years
Requirements:
- Should have experience in working in medium to large teams,
- Awareness of QA processes, testing strategy, test plans, etc.
- Experience in Manual / Automated Testing
- Knowledge of Configuration Management processes and tools like SVN/CVS/Branching/etc.
- Knowledge of Test Management or Bug Tracking tools like JIRA, etc.
Job responsibilities:
- Part of Performix xMES Product Development QA Team.
- To manage and mentor junior QA team members.
- To assist in process improvement and provide suggestions on Test Activities.
- Perform periodic assessment / review of QC activities.
- Participate in Design/Development discussions for the release features, and write/review Test Case Documents.
- Own and Perform Manual/Automated testing of Product features.
- Occasionally be part of Customer Project Deployments to perform On-site/Off-site Validation/Factory Acceptance Testing.
- Review / Write Technical Documentation of features tested/owned
Advantage: Good communication skills, Certifications in QA, Experience in Enterprise Software Deployments/Testing
QA - Associate Member:
Job Location: Pune, India
Educational qualifications: Engineering Graduate/MCA or equivalent
Experience: 2-3 years
Requirements:

- Ownership and development of Product code written in .Net
Educational qualifications: Engineering Graduate/MCA or equivalent

- MVC architecture

- Conversant with .Net framework3.0/3.5, NHibernate, Linq, Windows workflow foundation
Java Developer for Solution Team:
Job Location: Pune, India
Requirements:
- Should have experience in working in medium to large teams on J2EE based projects.
- Experience in collecting Requirements from customers, writing SDD, DB Design, performing customer deployments.
- Experience in technology areas like Hibernate, Application Servers, Struts, etc.
- Knowledge of Configuration Management processes and tools like SVN/CVS/Branching/etc.
- Good communication skills and proficiency in Spoken/Written English.
- Integration of JAVA / .NET based system with SAP using JCO connectors, web services, ALE/IDOC mechanisms.
Educational qualifications: Engineering Graduate/MCA or equivalent
Experience: 3 to 5 years
Job responsibilities:
- Part of Performix xMES Solution Team.
- Understand Customer Requirements, and implement projects using Performix xMES.
- Create customer specific applications to bridge the gap between Product Offering and Customer Requirement.
- To manage and mentor junior Solution team members.
- Occasionally be part of Customer Project Deployments to perform On-site/Off-site Validation/Factory Acceptance Testing.
- Review / Write Documentation of custom features developed for Customers.
- Work with Performix xMES Product development team to suggest/understand upcoming features in the product.
Advantage: Certifications in J2EE Technologies, Experience of working on Enterprise deployments and Product Teams.
Performix work hours are Mon-Fri; 40 hours/wk.
