Solution Consultant

Job Location: United States

Job responsibilities:
The Solutions Consultant is a motivated, self-starter who is a key member of the Performix Solutions team. In this role, you will assist in requirements gathering, business and technical proposals, demonstration, design, and deployment of complex MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) projects.  Reporting to the Director of Solutions, your role will act as the Performix liaison to prospects and customers throughout the entire lifecycle of a project – from demonstration through delivery.  You will be the project lead to engagements, as well as an individual contributor, performing requirements gathering and definition, demonstration, architecture and design (including integration into enterprise and plant-floor systems), business process re-engineering, and deployment activities for MES projects at Pharmaceutical, Food/Beverage, and/or Chemical manufacturing facilities around the US and Canada.

Educational qualifications: Bachelors in Technology or Engineering discipline

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years experience in professional services functions
• Minimum 5 years experience designing or implementing MES Application (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
  

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be willing and able to travel throughout the United States and Canada upto 75% of the time
  

Additional Eligibility Qualifications :

• Performix will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in US.

Desired Characteristics :

• Good communication skills, able to succeed with minimal supervision but excel in team environment.
• Business and manufacturing acumen in a technical environment.
• Skills in solution analysis, design, methodology, and architecture.
• Strong exposure to MES technologies, including automated data collection, visualization, quality and efficiency in manufacturing, SCADA, automated decision control, workflow, database applications, scheduling, and interface to ERP systems.
• Exposure to enterprise level large-scale applications.
• Manufacturing experience in Pharmaceutical, Food/Beverage, or Chemicals industries.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Manufacturing modules (PP-PI, MM, QM, PM, and/or MII)
• Experience in Process and Software Validation in GMP environments

Chief Architect/CTO:

Job Location: Pune, India

Role:

• Head the entire Product Engineering organization, Act as a technology and architecture consultant/mentor to the team, Ensure software quality through robust Architecture, design, coding and testing practices.

Requirement:

• 16+ years experience in architecting and delivering very large, high performance, high reliability and scalable IT applications, in the J2EE/SOA environment, and proprietary and open source tools, like Hibernate, JBoss, Rich Internet Applications, JSF, etc. and the ability to architect high availability redundant systems, using clustering at the OS, App Server, Database, and Application levels.

Advantage:

• Knowledge of Application Design & Development in the .Net and Adobe Flex/AIR environments

Engineer / Senior Engineer – MES Solutions:

Job Location: Pune, India

Requirements:

• Good communication skills, able to succeed with minimal supervision
• Strong exposure to manufacturing IT automation technologies, including automated data collection, visualization, quality and efficiency in manufacturing, SCADA, DCS, PLC, database applications
• Manufacturing experience in Pharmaceutical, Food/Beverage, or Chemicals industries
• Experience in Process and Software Validation in GMP environments
• Must be willing to travel to customer sites for 50% of time

Educational qualifications: B.E. (Instrumentation)

Experience:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in Batch Processes Industry Pharma, Food & Beverage, Specialty Chemicals
• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in MES Application deployment

Job responsibilities:

• The MES Solutions engineer is a member of Performix Solutions Team. In this role you will be closely working with Principal Solutions Consultant and will assist in requirement gathering, technical design, demonstration and deployment of complex MES (Manufacturing Execution System) projects. Reporting to the MES Solutions Manager, you will be in the customer facing roll throughout the lifecycle of the project from design-development to delivery. Your role will act as a liaison between Performix QA team and client to make sure that client specific business process scenarios are well understood by QA during the internal quality testing. As a part of deployment activities, you will be responsible for handling site acceptance test and driving integration activities between MES and plant-floor systems.
